Adam Whalley
MVLA San Jose is excited to welcome Adam to our coaching staff. Originally from England, Adam played collegiate and semi-professional soccer before beginning a coaching career in the United States that now spans more than 20 years. His experience includes leadership and coaching roles with Major League Soccer Camps, Almaden FC, the Santa Cruz Breakers Development Academy, and GPS/FC Bayern Munich. He is also the founder of HTS Soccer Training, a South Bay program focused on high-performance player development.
Adam takes a player-centered approach that develops the technical, physical, and mental aspects of the game while encouraging confidence, creativity, and intelligent decision-making. He has helped players advance to NCAA Division I programs, international academies, and professional clubs. Adam holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and several advanced coaching, leadership, and strength-and-conditioning qualifications.
